A Message From Our Founders

Welcome to the Blessing In The Sky Foundation (BITS).  Since 2007, our Foundation has been reaching out to meet the needs of the citizens of the greater Atlanta community.  Communities are only as strong as the Families that comprise them, and we believe Family is not limited to individuals who are related by blood.  Rather, Family is essentially a group of individuals who love, support, and are committed to one another.  They are the root of the community, and just like plants, Families require attention, nourishment, and care.  By helping to provide Families with these essential elements, together we can grow so high, we can touch the sky!!!!

VISION
To build stronger communities by strengthening Families, empowering the youth, and uplifting the homeless and hungry.

MISSION
To restore core Family values through the development of Family activities that promote trust, bonding, and unity; to empower the youth through motivation, education, and mentorship; and to uplift the homeless and hungry by providing essential resources that no person should be forced to live without.

HISTORY
"In 2007, Johnnie and Johnnie Cabbell came together to form the Blessing In The Sky Foundation (BITS).  They were inspired to start an organization to address the ailments of our communities and the brokenness of our Families. 
The Foundation was founded on the core Family values of love, loyalty, communication and spirituality, which were instilled in each of them from childhood.  Just as Families are the core of the community, Family values are the common thread in the fabric of the Foundation.
